Stewardship means “belonging to God" - all that we are and all that we have comes from God.  We are grateful to God for it all, and responsible to God for how we use it. In most Lutheran churches after the offering is collected, worshippers recite this prayer:

We offer with joy and thanksgiving what God has first given us—our selves, our time, and our possessions,

signs of your gracious love. Receive them for the sake

of him who offered himself for us, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

At St. Paul’s we challenge ourselves as a church and as individuals to be good stewards of all that God has given us- our selves, our time and our possessions. We challenges ourselves as a church and as individuals to give generously of our time, to share generously the talents and gifts God has given us, and to give generously of our financial resources.

If you would like to share your time or talents at St. Paul’s contact one of our pastors or our Ministry Manager to find out how you can get involved in the ministries of our church.

If you would like to share your financial resources, there are many great opportunities to do so.  You can give directly to our church- St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America or to a specific ministry within our congregation- World Hunger, Youth, Food Pantry, Church Camp, Building Debt, etc.
