Serving Others

As Christians we respond to God’s love by loving and serving others.  As Christians we follow Jesus’ example who said of himself- “The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve” (Mark 10:45).  At the conclusion of every worship service at St. Paul’s, the pastor says- “Go in Peace! Serve the Lord!” and with enthusiasm the congregation responds with “Thanks be to God!”

There are countless ways to serve both in our church building and outside of our church.  From serving as a worship assistant to serving in our food pantry, from serving as a musician to serving on our prayer chain, from serving as a Sunday School teacher to serving on one of our 10 church committees!

"Go in Peace! Serve the Lord!.......Thanks be to God!”
